2016 American Thyroid Association Guidelines for Hyperthyroidism
Graves' disease, toxic multinodular goiter, and toxic adenomas are the most common causes of hyperthyroidism. Proper treatment of hyperthyroidism depends on the correct diagnosis of the condition, presence of other medical conditions and patient preferences.
